Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will brief you and depending on the time you arrive, you will be taken to do the city tour, visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, take a tour around the market for local species, we will have lunch and later transfer to the Volcanoes National Park, it takes approximately 2 hours to arrive at the destination, dinner and staying overnight at
Bisate Gorilla Lodge.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Early morning breakfast, we will transfer to the national park headquarters for a morning briefing, they will tell you about the mountain gorilla families present in the park and how to conduct your self during a gorilla trekking activity, in groups of eight per gorilla family you will be led into forest, expect to meet these gentle mammals for an hour, returning to meet our guide who will take you to the Iby’iwacu community for cultural experiences, returning for dinner and staying overnight at
Bisate Gorilla Lodge.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking
Morning breakfast, after which we will reassemble at the park headquarter for the second day activity, just like the mountain gorillas, you will be guided through the forest, the beautiful primates live within the bamboo forest region of the park, it is amazing how these keep moving from one point to the other, after which we will return to the lodge heck out and Transfer to Kigali international airport for departure.
